- At Westdale United Church we are very fortunate that so many folks offer pastoral care to one another. However, at Westdale we have a designated group of folks who offer their ministry specifically to the Westdale United Church Pastoral Care Team. On behalf of all Westdale folks, a big thank you to the following who comprise the Pastoral Care Team: Shelley P., Nancy Mc., Liz L., Ellen G., Joan A., Denis T., and Rev. Bev. The Pastoral Care Team send cards for many occasions, make phone calls to check in on folks, lovingly produce and deliver Prayer Shawls, inform the Minister of known pastoral care needs, make home visits, organize information events, and offer care and kindness wherever they can to ease a pastoral need of all members of Westdale United Church.
